Meet the Team

Owner Shawn Bristol meeting with the HMC shop dogs.

Our team is vital to the day to day operations at HMC. Each member plays a part to create a smooth flow that ensures the highest quality with the shortest turnaround times. Our team of powder coating technicians, media blasting pros, office staff and dogs are here to make your HMC experience one that will keep you coming back. Even our team dogs are on the ball!

Shawn

Shawn

Shawn is co-founder of HMC. His 25 years of manufacturing experience, natural technical aptitude, and love for creating beautiful and durable finishes inspired him to launch HMC into Northeast Kansas’ premier powder coating and media blasting facility! He works closely with our industrial clients to ensure our services are a seamless extension of their own business. As a lifelong fan of all off-road toys, Shawn lives by the motto, “the fun begins where the pavement ends.” Shawn’s love for off-road toys and ensuring they were customized, led him to find his professional passion: powder-coating.  His personal experience in both work and play will guarantee you find the best finish for your project.

The girls are HMC’s friendly faces and sometimes can be found trying to run the front desk! Come meet them and you will understand why people say,“dogs are like potato chips, it’s hard to have just one!”

When he’s away from HMC, Mike also runs several of his own small businesses in our community of Tonganoxie, so “lots of irons in the fire” is how he rolls. From job scheduling to customer contact, Mike is the guy.
